What can be saved in it?
Anything that’s important to your child or young person!
Photos of family, friends and places they’ve visited.
Videos of precious moments or fun things they’ve done.
Voice recordings from family members, carers and people in their life.
Documents like certificates, drawings and letters that they can look back on.
Why do they need it?
We’re living in a digital age where memories live on devices that can be easily lost.
Things in their physical memory box can also be damaged, lost or stolen.
It means that wherever you are, you’ll be able to login and see the things that are important to them.
Is it safe?
Yes, it is a private and safe space that cannot be viewed by the public.
It can only be accessed by your child and the people that they give permission to.
Could it be hacked?
Virtual Memory Box has never been hacked and passed all attempts by cyber-security experts so far.
The platform has robust safety features and has two-factor authentication.
We do an annual security exercise where a cyber-security expert simulates an attack.
This identifies any weak spots which attackers could take advantage of.
Any weak spots found are eliminated to further tighten our security measures.
